Never had them never will you don't really need with a sharp concave and a good set of bars. Why? even deere only recommends them for corn anything else has to feed really slow and rumble a lot, cant imagine tough beans Think you should have them in there especially for corn. In the 9500's have had perforated filler plates. But when combining during the day never shut off thresher till I stop for evening & repeat afore mentioned process & always blow combine off with a gas powered leaf blower. In wheat at end of day-drop the stone trap & clean out & then run the combine slow-medium-fast & then stop & do this 5 or 6 times before I shut combine off for the nite & have had no vibration next day. On the second 9500 & had & have filler plates in combines. Used to have a 7720 that had filler plates & used in Wheat, beans & corn.

Cylinder would get dirt on the inside and vibrate until it would balance runs a lot smoother now. Removed mine before wheat harvest this year first time without them got along fine. Generally never harvest corn over 22-23% unless it is falling over or something. Debating whether to buy new and put them in or just leave them out. A couple of the filler plates are cracked out at the bolt holes. I am putting new rasp bars and concave on the 6620. JD 6620 T2, filler plates or not? Jump to page : 1 Now viewing page 1
